Women to Watch Class of 2016: Kelley Penrose, MPT, CCI

Owner/Physical Therapist at Penrose Physical Therapy

Kelley Penrose has been a physical therapist since graduating from the University of Evansville in 2002. She found her passion in treating people in outpatient physical therapy clinics, and dreamed of operating her own clinic that could break from the traditional model for care. In 2013, she founded Penrose Physical Therapy where she treats patients in a one-on-one setting, healing specific injuries while focusing on the wellness of the whole person. Kelley is passionate about healing and uses evidence-based, holistic practices in designing individualized plans of care. In addition to traditional therapeutic techniques, she also specializes in Women’s Health and Pregnancy, Myofascial Release, Therapeutic Cupping, Acu-therapy and Primal Reflex Release Techniques. Kelley is also an adjunct teacher at Brown Mackie College, where she teaches her students more than just the fundamentals of therapy, challenging them to think beyond the textbook, beyond the diagnosis, to heal their future patients. Kelley’s first love is her family, and she is a wife and mother of two energetic boys.
